Ryan, the founder of Committed Camper, came up with the idea after spending a large portion of his life playing college hockey in British Columbia. He then decided to intertwine his two passions, business and the outdoors. 

After investing on outdoor equipment, he realized that you pay excessive amounts of money for a particular brand, even if the quality is similar among its competitors.

He knows first hand that outdoor equipment doesn't come cheap and that quality matters. By offering high quality products at an affordable price, his goal is to influence people to spend more time in the wilderness.
